We publish the introduction to the ink of Father Thomaso Gianozi, entitled “The Prophets of Hope. Don Tonino Billo and Pope Francis.” In the text, published by àncora Editrice, the priest of the Argentine Pope and the Bishop of Molvita takes to try to give a face to the virtue of hope, a source of origin in the heart of humanity.

Pope Francisco

Among the many questions that a person posed throughout history, one of them has always found an unconfirmed answer, but this could allow the confrontation of the event from which the main question is born, that is, life outside death; What will the man be after death? What will be from me? We all realize that no one escapes from the secret of death and that the multiple questions that arise from this event cannot stop involving that virtue that, more than anyone else, allows every man and woman to look beyond the human limit: hope! Since waiting is life, this is living, this is the understanding of the way, it is to find the reasons that make the forefront to stimulate the meaning of our existence, our present, for our existence here now. The Christian education of the Catholic Church describes how the theological virtue was established to hope for the word Jesus, saying:

Hope is the theological virtue for which we aspire to the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our happiness, and put our confidence in the promises of Christ and support us in our strength, but in helping the blessing of the Holy Spirit (1). In addition, it corresponds to the desire for the happiness that God has placed in the heart of every human being; The hopes that inspire men’s activities assume; It purifies them for their request to the Kingdom of Heaven. It protects against frustration. Carrying in all fainting. Stretching the heart waiting for eternal bliss (2).

Hope donates a window for human life to eternity. However, we are well aware that the answer to the question about the goal of the Christian journey can find a negative answer, due to many wrong impacts that come from the world; In addition, given the fear of thinking that it is not at the end of the trip, humanity may fall into despair. If the virtue of hope is missing, then the other virtues that depend on it also collapse. Today, it is often the paradoxes about this pillar of the life of faith, and it is so wrong that the popular saying “who lives in desperate death” dominates the issue. You are at risk, and more chase, to believe that hope is:

A type of storage for unpleasant desires (…). However, it must be understood that hope is close to realism. It is tension from, who is heading on the street, has already traveled a section and guides his steps, with love and fear, towards the goal that has not yet been reached. It is a strong commitment, in short, has nothing to do with escaping (3).

However, it is necessary to keep in mind that hope is not a gift due to the only human merit, but it is a blessing generated from the innate desire to be happy. Through the dead and pioneering Christ, this grace is introduced, with the power of the Holy Spirit, in the heart of every man and woman: “This desire is a divine origin.” God put him in the heart of man in order to attract him, the only person he can satisfy (4). Write in the invitation bull 2025:

Everyone expects. At the heart of every person, we hope that the desire and expectation will be for good, until you ignore what will bring with him tomorrow. However, the inability to predict in the future appears often: from trust to fear, from serenity to frustration, from certainty to doubt. We often find frustrated people, who look at the future with suspicion and pessimism, as if nothing could provide them with happiness (5).

Taking into account the idea of Don Tonino Bello and Kalmati and cooperation on the virtue of hope, Don Tomaso Gianozi Catek is tried on this topic that I presented in Wednesday’s fans of 2017, and the text author will try to give a face to this source that stems in the human heart. This invitation, then, becomes a commitment to the development of this “girl”, as well as Monsignor Belo, is used to determining this great virtue, allocating words and the thought of the great poet and writer Charles Begwi:

What does not need to be my grace and the strength of my grace, so that this little hope, which hesitates in the breath of sin, is shivering in front of the wind, which remains the slightest breath, remains alive, and remains very loyal, and they oppress, do not oppress, pierce, immortality and impossible (…). What amazes me, as God says, is hope, and I do not get out of my amazement. This little hope that looks like a small thing, this little hope, immortal. (6).
