Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh farmers will not only be the beneficiary of the projects but also the serious partner of the state’s overall growth. “In the New Uttar Pradesh’s new Uttar Pradesh, agriculture will be not only for the livelihood but also the basis of prosperity and self -determination,” he said. At the review of the agriculture sector, 11.41% of the country’s total agricultural sector is in Uttar Pradesh, but the state’s share is 20.89%, which is proof of the beneficial policies of the farmers and the government.

167.66 lakh metric tonnes in food production

In 2016-17, food production was 557.46 lakh metric tonnes, which increased by more than 725.12 lakh metric tonnes in 2024-25. During the same period, the production of pulses and oil seeds has increased. The Chief Minister reiterated the decision to bring this record to a new height. The Chief Minister advised that the seeds should be created according to the climate zones with special emphasis on the quality and fitness of the seeds.

Chaudhry Saran Singh Seed Park was installed soon

He advised to prepare separate seeds for rebellion and late sowing, ensuring authorization and providing a discount rate to farmers. Chief Minister Yogi asked the Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation to increase the amount of seed purchasing from the farmers and ensure that processed seeds are available. The Chief Minister advised the establishment of the Choudhry Saran Singh Seed Park in Lucknow, the Chief Minister described this as a revolution in the seed area.

Explicit subsidy plan on agricultural equipment

Chief Minister Yogi, who expressed the need for the maximum use of companies such as the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Research Council, called for expedite agricultural innovations based on technology. He emphasized that the subsidy process in agricultural equipment is transparent, and that a detailed advertisement should be made before taking applications from farmers. In the process of selection, the farmers of the maximum development constituencies should ensure benefit.

‘Sri Food’ and more encouragement to natural farming

The first to express special excitement about ‘Sri Ann’, he gave instructions to strengthen the encouragement and the purchase system. He expressed his severity on the spread of natural agriculture, and said that the useful system of recognizing organic products should be created so that farmers can get the best market value. At the meeting, it was announced that 2.81 crore farmers have benefited under the Yoja of Prime Minister Kisan Suman. Chief Minister Yogi described as a direct example of transparency and goodwill in the welfare of the farmer.
