US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he can travel to Saudi Arabia next month, and that the trip will include visits to other countries as well, such as Qatar and perhaps the United Arab Emirates.
“It might be next month, and maybe a little later,” Trump said in the Oval Hall. “We will also go to Qatar, and perhaps to some other countries. The United Arab Emirates is very important.”
“The last time I went to Saudi Arabia, I put it first on the list because they agreed to purchase $ 450 billion in American, military and other goods,” Trump said. “I agreed to do this again, but – they agreed to spend nearly a trillion in our American companies, and this means for me jobs.”
“An opportunity for the president’s international travel is something that is analyzed. We have no specific plan yet and we will provide this information when it is official,” said a White House employee, in response to the Axius report that Trump is planning a trip in mid -May.
Trump’s first trip abroad during his previous term was a tour of five countries that included the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Israel, Vatican, Summit Outan in Brussels and the G7 Summit in Sicily.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted high -risk meetings for American, Russian and Ukrainian employees. This confirms the aspirations of the Kingdom to become a global actor who is able to successfully mediate international conflicts.

The rise of Prince Muhammad as a mediator in negotiations stems from his close relationship with Trump, who supported a young member of kings when he was rejected internationally after the killing of the column writer in the Washington Post Jamal Khashogji in 2018.
In 2017, Trump separated from traditions when choosing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the first international presidential visit.
