Reuters reported at the scene that about 2000 people were participating in the protest. Opposition Party demonstrators and activists cried the momentum of “Europe” and “Filthy Fides” while trying to prevent an important bridge.

“This is not proud, it’s the freedom of meeting. They are trying to restrict the right to meet, and perhaps completely ended it,” Zsuzsa Szabo, 72, who moved from Kecskemet, East Budapest, told protest.
