Wheat and mustard harvest are still underway in almost many states of the country. Meanwhile, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare in the Colonel District have launched a large -scale crop harvesting test (CCE), which aims to estimate the average yield of wheat and mustard crops throughout the district to harvest the current rabbi season. Preliminary discoveries suggest that the average wheat yield is about 24 quintals per acre, which is higher than the average of the previous year.

CCE application in many fields throughout the district

CCE in 1,720 fields across the district. At the same time, so far, these tests have been completed in about 1,100 fields. For this purpose, agricultural groups go to the fields and talk to the farmers. Also, after harvest, data is collected to determine the yield at the farm level.

Get help in crop insurance estimate

Dr. Wazir Singh, Deputy Director of Agriculture (DDA), said, “Tests are helping to evaluate the average yield of compensation not only for productivity analysis but also for the loss of crop loss under the Pradhan Minister Crop Insurance Scheme (BMFPO).”

So far, the department checks 56,646 farmers in my crop on 4,03,031 acres registered under wheat cultivation. (CCE) The mustard crop is also organized in 250 fields.

The final report will be ready after analysis

Senior officials, including Dr. Rajiv Kumar Mishra, the Joint Director of the Agriculture Department (Statistics), went to these departments and spoke to the farmers to investigate the tests. The DDA said the yield was good, despite the worst climate conditions at the beginning of the harvest. He said, “Initial investigations refer to a trusted product. When all the tests are completed and the data analyzed the data will be prepared.”

Increased wheat attendance in the district, slowly lifting

At the same time, the arrival of wheat in the kernel is in full swing. In the current season, 61,81,875 wheat wheat has arrived, which is 19.33 lakh higher than last year. However, the lifting process is slow. Of the total 57,71,302 quintals, only 22,67,934 quintals were removed.
