The Humanitarian Association of Alhao’s volunteer firefighters has entered into a contract for 548,300 euros and a special fire truck (VECI) by VAT.

This project is a result of a joint venture between the municipality of Aalhao, Porto de Aviro (APA) and the companies established in the entire terminal of Porto de Avro.
“Investment,” recalled the municipality, “Helping to strengthen the fire response ability in the high -Risk industrial areas.”
Delivery is scheduled for July 31 this year in Allahavo’s voluntary firefighting packs.
The version and APA funds for 200 thousand euros, which resembles 36.48% of the total, while the companies installed in the Liquid Conks terminal will fund the remaining 348,300.00 euros.
The vehicle with “Innovative Technology and Unique Specifications in Portugal” is stored in 15,000 liters of water capacity and 1,000 liters of hydrocarbons fire, as well as high product fire monitoring, advanced heating analysis systems and explosive atmospheres, and converted communications to ATEX zones and devices.
“The acquisition of this vehicle refers to a significant progress in the protection of infrastructure, environment and local populations, strengthens the functional capacity of volunteer firefighters in Ihahao and allows the most effective response to emergency.”
