The most important thing is that the rivers start from here and flow elsewhere. No river comes from the outside with water. He said that low rainfall in the region is available from the Ujani Dam of Pune via the canal systems.

734 Rural target

The Tarashiv Water Crisis is facing the water crisis, which may be a lesson for other parts of India. In such an effort, 734 villages of Tarashi are invited to compete in a competition to prove their water management skills. After this competition, the best procedures are made by a bank, which can be accepted by the state and even the rest of the country. In this competition, the villages will be given 100 numbers. The competitive crisis is organized by the District Administration, the Water Supply and Health Department of the Maharashtra Government and the Pune -based organization WATR Foundation (WOTR).

140 villages will be added

The first three villages will receive a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, 3 lakh and Rs 1 lakh. Gram Panchayat Sarpanj and Gram Nawaks have already been registered with more than 140 villages. Manak Ghosh, CEO of Tarashiv Zilla Parisha, some good innovations and indigenous solutions are seen after the procedure, and they can be developed in the quality of cleanliness and water supply from groundwater levels and then promoted. The competition was announced on February 4, in which the last date for self -ownership for the villages is April 15.
