In fact, small solar pumps are distributed to tribal farmers in Raigad, Maharashtra. These pump sets are completely free from diesel and walk in solar energy. Also, it can be carried by any department. With the help of a tractor, farmers can take this pump to another field and remove water for irrigation. There are two advantages from this set. District collector Kishan Jawle started the project about 40 days ago after visiting the fort village of Roha Taluk. During his arrival, he found that Aboriginal farmers were growing 400 acres of land on 400 acres. They mainly use diesel pumps for irrigation.
