Rohingya, eight years of humanitarian crisis

The United Nations Refugee Agency (Refugee Commission), along with the International Organization for Migration (IIM), asked the international community to provide more support to the Rohingya refugees and their reception societies in Banglades, in the context of increased insecurity in Myanmar and forced displacement.

An endless war

The endless conflict in Myanmar, and the decline in financial resources and crises around the world has a necessary matter for interfering in the international community to support the Rohingya refugees, who continue to live in a risk fraught, completely dependent on humanitarian aid. The council announces new elections

Since the 2021 coup, the Council has repeatedly tried to organize the elections, but the plans have been constantly postponed. The rebel forces continue to control large areas of the country, especially along the border areas. Countries like Rakhine and Shan are still in conflict, with a limited military presence and unconfirmed control. However, the Office of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, General Minne Kong Heling, announced that the elections will be held in the third and fourth week of December and on the first of January. “The government must take advanced measures to ensure fraud -free general elections, which are free and original,” says the announcement that was published on March 26, without further details.
