The initiative of the National Milk Development Board (NTTP) seems to be successful in terms of double the cattle breeders. Although this effort of the NTTP is increasing the income of cattle breeders, this effort proves that this effort helps to control pollution. How to make money by selling milk waste, the answer to this question is NTTP’s initiative. For this, the NTTP provides technical assistance to cattle breeders. Because of this, cattle breeders also sell cow dung with milk. Now livestock farmers are profitable by selling milk and cow dung.
With the help of NDDB, cattle breeders sell crores every month. Because of this, the milk plant also makes a lot of profit. This is the plant of the Varanasi Milk Association. In the last three years, the capacity of this plant has increased manifold. Moreover, the income of cattle breeders is also increasing.
Livestock owners sell 2 thousand tons of cow dung every month
According to information received by the NTTP, the plant is purchased by two thousand tonnes of cow dung every month. Recently, Rs. Not only that, but livestock breeders sell 1.35 lakh liters of milk every day. Before the NTDP operated, only four thousand liters of milk was purchased at this plant. But now this number will touch one and a half lakhs. The plant’s processing capacity is two lakh liters daily. Soon the plant will start at the plant with milk powder, supplied product and Varanasi’s traditional sweets.
50 paise in a liter of plant from cow dung
According to NTDP, Biogas is made from a cow dung purchased from the farmers at the plant. This gas is used in milk processing. This gas plant meets thermal and electronic requirements. For this purpose, two thousand tonnes of cow dung is purchased from livestock breeders every month. Farmers benefit from this, saving 50 paise in a liter of milk processing with the plant. At the same time, this effort of the NDDB is also decreasing the emission of methane gas. At the same time, the villages are clean.
