Milk manufacturers should not worry about marketing, NTDP

The National Milk Development Board (NTDP) has forwarded the expansion scheme of the Milk Business Business, and under which milk production systems (MPO) are triggered to sell their products through the Thai Milk Brand, as it tries to reduce the gap between procurement and marketing. According to ‘Business Line’, NTDP president Menesh Shah said, “Buying milk through its network is the highlight of this milk production system, while Thai milk is an already installed brand. We want to focus on their strength without worrying about marketing.”

Installing MPO processing units

Shah commented on 23 milk production systems that are being promoted by the NTDP and many of them are already associated with mother milk, and they are committed to buying the full amount of milk purchased from the farmers. Once these dairy manufacturers are financially good, they will be encouraged to install their own processing units.

Mother’s milk was launched under the Operation Flood initiative, including direct market access to dairy producers and the creation of proper wages and providing quality dairy products to urban consumers.
