Justin Thomas won the BGA tour for the sixteenth time, but he felt different in Hilton Head Island, EC on Sunday
“I don’t realize how much I missed,” he said about the emotions that came with the continuation of Putin that won.
Thomas trained a bird from 6 meters away from the first Tibreaker to win the ArbCi tradition at Harbor Town Golf Links, and announced the first time the champion of the competition for the first three years.
Thomas and Andrew Novak, who were looking for their first victory on the PGA tour, were 267 in 72 holes. Novak was in the last match for the third time this season, but could not find a way to win.
Thomas has not won a twice -time champion of a ‘Major’ since taking the 2022 BGA championship.
“It’s hard to win, this is very difficult,” Thomas said. “I left my skin. I was patient. I was positive.”
Thomas threw 68, concluding his bogis free round with three couples consecutively. In the last regulatory hole, Novak lost 2.5 -mem put and added 68 range.
“I failed to read,” he said.
Thomas has been seven times in the playoffs in the Circuit, winning five of them.
So for Novak, this is another very close game.
As far as feelings are concerned, “he said. I am not frustrated as I thought. I think I did so many good things. … I have to go out there and get a success at one point, but all of these results are the best. “
Thomas was the leader after the first and second rounds. On Sunday he advanced with a puddle of Baredi in the Hole 15 and a half in half, but Novak looked forward to a bird from about 17 feet in 16.
“When I felt that I was not doing a big oscillation this week, I was very proud to have kept myself in that position,” Novak said. “The fact is that I could scratch a success without really doing my best swing.”
Daniel Berger (Sunday 65), Brian Harman (69), Mevic Magneli (70) and Canadian McCanzee Hughes (67) were third. The English Tommy Fleetwood (70) was equal to 13 in seventh place.
βIn the last nine holes I have failed in two oscillations,β Harman said. “If I had four or five swings during the competition, I think it would have been there.”
Hughes said that getting the top 10 seats would benefit in a common situation.
“If I know that it has such a decision and the spots will multiply (in the updated setting of the tour), this is the biggest for me,” Hughes said.
Scotti Shefler, the guardian of the headline, condemned their round of their rounds with three birds with three birds up to double-poji 7 in Hole 15. With 70 range, he was in eighth place with Russell Henley (70) and South Korean IF Wu Kim (74), the leader of the third round.
The world’s current number 1 Sheffler has not won a championship this year.
“I needed a few more feet. They were undoubtedly,” she said.
Kim went up to 2 of the 12 holes, and his problems continued with the double Poki 5 in Hole 14.
Butt K UL Lyy is the best result of the final round. Under 7, he is 32nd.
