According to the former PSPCL officer, the reason for the increase in demand is the increase in the temperature and the intense weather of rice planting. Because of this, there is a special increase in electricity consumption. He said the total power consumption in the state was 38 per cent, 30 per cent and 19 per cent respectively.

The government generates 6,000 to 6,500 MW of electricity from its own resources. He receives about 10,000 MW of electricity from the phase through power procurement contracts and banking systems.
