Brazilian Cardinal Dom Leonardo Steiner said on Friday (9) that Pope Liu XIV will not exempt himself from social and environmental issues, and he says that he is “a man who has a lot of sensitivity.”
Dom Leonardo said in response to the question of the question, “It is certain that he will not be exempted from this entire question, which relates to the poor, the parties, the indigenous peoples, and the environment, where the earth suffers, where people are suffering,” said Dom Leonardo in response to the question of the question. Cardinal stressed that the new Pope has a great sensitivity to social issues, remembering the period in which he was in Peru and his dedication in the poorest.

However, Dom Leonardo pointed out this Leo XIV will not be “repeated” for other youth.
He said: “(Liu XIV) will be, he will not be a repetition of another Pope. The person who was so far will be a wonderful missionary, a dedicated man, a man with an extraordinary vision of the church and the world.”
