Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has appealed to the state governments not to buy any crop of farmers below the minimum support price (MSP). Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the BJP -led central government is committed to ensuring that the procurement price of crops should not go down to the MSP and that the state governments are expecting similar cooperation in these purchases.

He added that the center has allowed the state governments to buy Tour, lentils and Urath Doll, and that the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Association (NEFED) and the National Cooperative Consumer Association (NCCF) are in the process of buying TUR Dal in states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnadaka and Maharashtra. Speaking about the purchase of Gram, Mustard and Lentle Doll, Prime Minister Anadata stressed that he would be purchased by Prime Minister Anadata Income Protection Campaign (Prime Minister-Asha Yojana).

States are authorized to buy crop

Shivraj Singh said that the Union Ministry of Agriculture of the Central Government has given permission to the state governments to buy tour, lentils and fertilizer. The purchase of Door Doll is ongoing. Purchase is being done in MSP (Minimum Support Price) by NAFED and NCCF in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana. I appeal to the states to properly implement this plan for purchase at the MSP. Gram, mustard and legumes will be purchased under Prime Minister Asha Yoja. We have approved different states for purchase of mustard. We have also approved the purchase of Cobra in Tamil Nadu.

The registration process is easy for farmers

The Union Minister said that the central government has ensured the use of the NAFED and NCCF portal to facilitate the registration process for the farmers. On behalf of the central government, all state governments appeal to ensure that there is no purchase for the MSP values. At the same time, the state governments must provide effective cooperation in these purchases. Our aim is to benefit the farmers, and we will not leave any stone to fulfill this sacred purpose.
