Even after expensive, there is a lot of need for ghee made from Badri cow’s milk. According to experts, ghee demand is more than production. Considering this, a special project has been launched in Uttarakhand to improve the Badri cow breed and increase milk production.

Most Badri cows are found in Uttarakhand. The daily milk production of cows will be measured for the first two years to improve the species of Badri cows and increase milk production. For this purpose, cows from four districts of Uttarakhand have been identified. More than three thousand cows will be measured in 90 villages of four districts.

Milk is measured after getting pregnant

In Uttarakhand, the program for measuring the milk of Badri Cows is being held for the first time with the National Gokul Mission and the National Milk Development Board. According to experts associated with the project, their milk is weighed daily after the Badri cows become pregnant. The number of such cows is more than three thousand. The Badri Cow is also known as Kamadhenu of Uttarakhand, and it gives two liters of milk every day. Badri cow’s milk is considered to be very beneficial. Four percent of its milk contains fat and A -2 protein, which increases immunity. Each day submits milk statistics and measuring samples, blood samples, and the time of milk fetal use will be sent to Gujarat by the use of cattle livestock, after which a group of scientists will work on increasing the milk and progress of Badri cow.

How many teams are formed

This scheme for measuring the milk of Badri cow will last two years. Under this scheme, 12 centers have been built in 24 villages of the incident, where research will be done in 820 cows. In the 24 villages of Almora district, there will be 820 cows by setting up 12 milk registration centers. In 20 villages of Pidorakar district, 11 centers will be set up and 800 cows will work in 800 cows by setting up 11 centers in 22 villages of the Nainal district. Uttarakhand is the fifth state that works for cows. Apart from this, the work of cows in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat and Karnataka.
