The aviation industry is one of the most dynamic and strategic sectors around the world, and Mexico has placed itself as a major representative and one of the leading countries in exporting and manufacturing this industry.
That is why it is not surprising that 10 years ago, Mexico chose an ambitious initiative to enhance the aviation industry: the Mexican Space Show (FAMX). He was born with the aim of establishing an international space for the impact that strengthened the growth of the National Airways ecosystem.
In its first edition, in 2015, the United Kingdom was the guest country, and since then we participated in the epithelium, convinced that cooperation in strategic sectors, such as flying, is necessary to enhance innovation and economic growth of our countries.
Today, FAMX is a sign in Latin America that attracts hundreds of visitors and exhibitors in the aviation industry. It was influenced by the widely and high -end -ended presentation of the program in this international exhibition organized by the Mexican Armed Forces at the Military Air Force Base No. 1 of Santa Luka.
He reminded me of the international air form of Farnoborough in the United Kingdom, one of the most important space events in Europe, where representatives of governments, companies, universities and research centers gathered from many parts of the world. Together, these actors enhance major changes in industries and sectors in their countries.
The United Kingdom was present, from April 23 to 26, in our British wing thanks to a delegation of 13 advanced British manufacturing companies, aircraft maintenance, defense, artificial intelligence, sustainability and cybersecurity.
We have the second largest space industry in the world and recognized for its strong specialization in innovative products and solutions in the world. In Famex, this was explained thanks to companies that were part of the British delegation and showed great talent, global innovation and future vision of the sector.
For example, 360-DMG is a pioneer in the future of the environmental aviation of the aircraft production life program, while OneWEb is the first geological STO operator (GEO) and the low ground orbit (LEO) in the world, which converts spatial communications and provides fully connected.
But the British innovation sample was not only in the aviation area. Cyber defense, education and security companies such as BSI Group, Safeguard Armor, Armtrac and Hensoldt have participated in their capabilities and knowledge in areas such as the moral development of artificial intelligence systems, tactical equipment of the armed forces and multiple agents.
Something I discovered in Famox is that the Mexican pilots in the 201 squadron fought along with the Allied Forces in World War II. For us, it is an honor for me to remember and honor the heritage of courage and international security cooperation. In addition, it inspires us to continue working together towards a safer, prosperous and continuous future.
Events such as FAMX allow representatives of public and private sectors to meet to find common solutions to common challenges such as cybersecurity, environmental sustainability, and technical knowledge and capabilities.
As in diplomacy, getting more ease is always when accompanying. The UK will continue to build evidence with Mexico, which links and enhances our economies.
