Bolivia police arrested the judge who canceled an arrest warrant against former President Evo Morales on Monday, accused of trafficking in a minor. The General Ministry stated that the decision was suspended a few days later.

Santa Cruz de la Sierra was arrested in the east of the country, where Judge Lillian Moreno has his office, who also canceled the charges against the original leader, freezing his origins and banning the country’s director.

“It complied with a decision that was established (…) to an arrest warrant against Mourino,” Bolivia, the Poliva Prosecutor, told a news conference.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Justice said that the judge condemned alleged crimes of disobedience from constitutional and deposited decisions, which consist of issuing rulings outside the law.

The prosecutor said on Monday that his arrest was “the risk of escaping and hindering.”

The judge was transferred on a commercial trip to Labaz, according to the local media.

Mariaka added that the detainee “in the next few hours (…) will lead to her statement” before one of the public prosecutors.

Moreno’s lawyer, Moreno’s lawyer, described arbitrary detention. “We are talking about a judicial authority, which has natural roots, which has a family with a well -known job,” he said.

Morales, 65, who ruled Bolivia between 2006 and 2019, a refugee in the Cocalera Del Chapare region, in the center of the country.

From there he directs his campaign for the August elections. He aspires to a fourth presidential mandate, despite a maximum constitutional judgment.

The authorities require not to submit them to the martyrdom in which it must be announced.

According to the Office of the Public Prosecutor, in 2015, the former president maintained a relationship with a 15 -year -old teenager, who had a daughter after year.

He argues that Morales had given benefits to parents in exchange for their daughter, who was part of the “youth guard” of the ruling party at the time.

Morales deny these accusations.

“Very missing”

Last week, Judge Moreno canceled the investigation and trial file against Morales, which was taken in the Ministry of Tarja, where the alleged victim lives in southern Bolivia.

He also ordered that the case began again in Cochbamba, the political stronghold and the residence area of the Cocalero leader.

Last Friday, the peace judge suspended the effects of Moreno’s decision.

Manuel Babetsta, head of the Judges Council, said at a press conference that the judge does not correspond to the determination of the authority that must resolve the case, but rather to the top of the Court of Justice.

There are signs “to consider that there is a very serious administrative mistake”, “It has a penalty that is separation.”

Babetsta indicated that a La Paz judge also faces a similar disciplinary process, because it was not possible to enable Moreno’s decision.

This is not the first time that Moreno has crossed the Judicial path of Moralis. In October 2024, he canceled another arrest warrant for the same case.
