Some farmers in the village of Palayavanavalli in Andhra Pradesh have set a new way to agriculture. Farmers are farming with the water sharing formula. Because of this, water is not wasted, and yield in agriculture is increasing. Farmers have created a water -sharing formula to operate the water -sharing formula. Farmers have entered a contract for this. Under it no farmer can place a new borewell for 10 years. This new use of farmers has improved groundwater levels in the area.
Groundwater level improve-
According to Dinik Bhaskar’s report, farmers are farming by accepting the water -sharing formula in the village of Balayavanapalli. He says that there was less water for agriculture. Because of this, there was difficulty in agriculture. Because of this, the yield was reduced. But now it is beneficial to share water. He says that this also benefits agriculture and is improveing groundwater levels.
16 as a result of hard work of farmers-
16 farmers of the village of Palayavanapalli are related to this project. All these farmers have common contacts. Borewell has been placed on 38 acres of land in the village. The project started in the village in 2012. First, these farmers formed the Water Sharing Group. All the farmers paid Rs 2500-2500 and registered it. All the farmers built the stamp paper that they would not dig Borewells for a decade. Of these 16 farmers, 4 are Borewells. 12 farmers are without borewells.
Pumps offer water-
The fields are attached to the village of Palayavanapalli with 2200 feet byte. Water is supplied through this pipe. Its advantages are very beneficial during the Carib crop. During the Corb season, Borewells give water from the common pipeline to the farmers associated with this group. This requires water at the time of sowing, flower or fruit.
How did the project start
In 2007, the project was launched by Hyderabad’s Watershed Support Services and Operations Network (Vasan). Today, 73 villages from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been linked to the project. According to the report, Vasan’s Executive Secretary A.K. Ravindra says that Vasan was the year of the project with the help of the World Bank and ABTMP. But now the farmers continue to join it. Now the situation is that farmers are joining the project. This is beneficial. Groundwater levels have improved significantly in these villages.
