There is scientific evidence that the size of the microflastics is between 5 mm and the microscopic level, and they are harmful to agriculture – they are harmful to agriculture – and they are consumed by animals, including fish, including fish.

According to some scientific studies, the careless consumption of microblasts can cause health risks such as fertility and cancer. Citizens are aware of these dangers and want to carry out strict measures of volume.

“I have heard that microflastics may even penetrate the cerebral cortex, which is part of our brain. When they enter our bloodstream, they severely affect reproductive health,” says the resident of Athens (Greece).

“I think the EU can decide to use less plastic in the industry and our daily consumption,” says another resident of Brussels (Belgium).

Companies have reached an agreement on a new regulatory, which establishes obligations to companies and those who carry plastic particles in their amenities.

“Large companies moving over 1,500 tonnes per year must obtain a certificate of independent third party. Small businesses moving over 1,500 tonnes per year must be a certificate of small businesses and microfintricries that move less than 1,000 tons.

Why and how do the terms comply with additional social operators?

Each year is lost in the environment that is equal to 7,300 trucks mounted on plastic particles. The European Commission estimates that new standards will reduce the losses of plastic particles by up to 74%. To do this, standards also apply to additional social operators.

“There must be an recognized representative outside the EU companies working in our territory and explains how European regulations comply with every skilled power of member states,” said Caesar Luna, one of the main negotiators of the European Parliament.

Some NGOs oppose exemptions and use delays, especially criticizing very low standards for small businesses.

“In fact, the SMEs refer to most of the plastic distribution chain, 98% of the transformation and 97% of transportation and storage,” says Greekoire Lori.

Despite the high levels of sea pollution, in accordance with the regulations, there will be three years of maritime traffic instead of the remaining companies. Pressure continues with an important maritime economic activities from some member states.

“Cyprus, Greece, Malta and Croatia have been in countries where they have heard for three years because they needed more time to change,” the MP confirmed.

Violations of new standards of plastic particles and transportation may be imposed at least 3% of the business size of a company in the EU. Governments can also initiate criminal procedures in severe pollution cases.
