38 days have passed since February 14, when Pope Francis left the Vatican to be transferred to the hospital in Gemelli Polyclinic. Complex weeks for a 88 -year -old patient who suffers from dual pneumonia: medical bulletins have not hidden the seriousness of the situation, the crises he was going through, and the complexity of the clinical image. But the days that were passed were mostly accompanied by a car of the camel for their health: personal prayers, community prayers, pink, and Eucharist. Not only Catholics, not only Christians, pray for Francisco. Women and men belonging to other religions prayed for the Pope. Many people who do not think also sent good ideas and desires. For this town in prayer, the short greeting today was required and visualized.
We live with the bishop of Rome in these long days of suffering, we hope to pray, and we moved to him when Francisco wanted on March 6 to send his weak voice to all, and thanked the believers who prayed in Plaza de Saint Pedro and continued from everyone, and joining them. We have allowed ourselves on Sunday, March 16, when we saw it for the first time, despite being photographed on your back, while we pray after we celebrate the Mass in the Church of the tenth floor of Gemelli.
After a lot of anxiety, but also a lot of confidence and abandoning the project of the person who gives us life every moment and that at every moment we can call ourselves, we have seen it today again. We received a blessing on the day of our return to the Vatican. From the hospital room, in recent weeks, we mentioned Francisco that life deserves to live every moment and that at any time we can ask us. We mentioned that suffering and weakness can become an opportunity for the evangelical testimony, to declare God who becomes a person and suffers with us, and accepts that he will be exterminated on the cross.
We thank you for telling you that from the hospital room, the war looked more absurd; To tell us that we must disarm the land, and therefore, we do not send it by filling the ostens with new death tools; To pray and offer his suffering for peace, threatened today.
