“We cannot resign from violence in a world characterized by the shadow of death,” is the request of citizens and authorities before Mexican Episcopal Conference (CEM) At the start of the week for life.
Amid the terrifying survivors to employ organized crime at the Izaguirre farm, in Teuchitlán, Galisco, the Catholic bishop called every Mexican to defend life in all their stages and to be sympathetic to them from the effects of violence.
By demanding society with a serious commitment to defending the life and dignity of every person through education in values such as respect, love and solidarity, the Catholic Church affirmed that it is not sufficient to condemn evil, but it also needs to stop it through behaviors according to the Christian belief.
The obligations requested by the Catholic Church to the Mexicans were released on Monday by the Secretary -General of the Mexican Episcopal Conference (CEM), Héctor Mario Pérez Villarreal, and the assistant bishop in Guadalajara, Ramon Salazar, in broadcasting a video on social networks.
“In a world that was characterized by the shadow of death and despair, the Church reminds us that life is a sacred gift that must be welcomed, protected, defended and promoted with courage (…) The family is the first field in which you learn love and respect life () accompanying victims of violence, and we also call for them to be Samaritanus who heal Guadalaja.
The week will be held for life from Monday 24 to 28 March, and throughout it, people are called to pray and defend life in all its stages.
