What causes the low water level?
One reason behind the fall at the water level is raining. According to CWC, the Himachal Pradesh from March 1 to April 17 was 97 mm, which is 36 percent lower than normal. During the same period, Punjab received 11 mm rainfall, which is 67 percent lower than normal.
Farmers face problems due to lack of water
Himachal and Punjab’s reservoirs also benefit the farmers of neighboring states. Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi’s meteorological subcategories received 15 mm of rainfall, which is 32 percent lower than normal. At the same time, Jammu and Kashmir rained 114 mm, which is 47 percent lower than normal. West Rajasthan received only 4 mm of rain, which is 54 percent lower than normal. If the state of rain does not improve, there may be a shortage of water in the area in the coming days, which can cause problems for farmers.
These states are likely to rain today
Surender Paul, the Director of the Indian Meteorological Department, said, “It is possible to rain in some parts of Punjab by April 19th after April 19. After this, there is a possibility of rainfall in Haryana in Punjab and Haryana in the next five-year.
