We use air purification plants for refreshment and clean air at home, but do you know that some plants can endanger your pet? These plants are poisonous by purifying the air for pets.
Aloe
Aloe is the most popular plant, which is often used for skin care. However, this plant is poisoned for pets. If dogs or cats chew it, their stomach may be upset. They may have problems such as vomiting, diarrhea and weakness.
Snake plant
The snake plant is also known as “Mother-in-Las Tung”. It is the most popular air purification plant. But it is poisonous for dogs and cats. Its use can worsen their digestion, such as vomiting, liver problems and weakness.
Silence lily
Peace Lily is the most beautiful and popular plant, which is known to purify the air. But this may be toxic for pets. Consuming this can cause abdominal pain, swelling and throat irritation, which can be uncomfortable with animals.
Bilodendron
Bilodendron is an internal plant, which is planted to give a green atmosphere into the house. However, this plant is very poisonous for pets. Its leaves contain oxalate crystals that can cause irritation in the mouth, throat and stomach of the animal, which can cause diarrhea and vomiting.
Tiaphinpacia
Another plant that is dangerous for pets is diaphinepachia. Its leaves and stems contain calcium oxalate crystals that are poisoned for pets. Because of this exposure, animals can cause mouth irritation, excessive saliva and digestive problems.
Keep in mind that if you have pets in your home, they should be away from these plants or your animals should be kept in places where they cannot be contacted. If your pet consumes these plants, contact a veterinarian immediately.
