The federal government is preparing a database for many works, including providing the benefits of government schemes to farmers. It is named as a farmer’s registration, in which a special ID (Farmer ID) is given to the farmers, which is a great job arrangement for the farmers, and it is beneficial to them. So far, many states have shown good progress in it, so in many states it has not yet been approved. According to a report called ‘Business Line’, Punjab, Haryana and Karnataka are in similar states, which are not participating in the center of the center.
4.6 crore became farmer ID
According to the news agency PTI, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan told the states on Friday that more than 4.6 crore farmers have been issued ID cards and efforts have been made to register the remaining farmers under such digital ID cards. In 12 states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the target of creating a 10.01 crore farmer ID has been set up, of which 4.6 crore farmers have been linked.
2817 crores will be spent

This will promote farmers -centered digital solutions and provide reliable information on crops for all farmers. ID is beneficial in these works
The Minister said that it provides comprehensive and useful data on farmers, including certified population details, land holders, family details, crops sown crops, soil health, owned cattle, owned fisheries and other businesses. He said it helps farmers digitly identify and certify themselves to achieve various benefits and services related to agriculture and loans, insurance, purchases and marketing facilities.
