The processing units will change the fate of UP’s agricultural economy and know what the government’s strategy is

In UP, new projects and various project campaigns are being implemented to increase the income of farmers. The state government said on Tuesday that a multi -dimensional strategy has been launched to change the agricultural economy of the state to promote exports and protect food and nutritional needs. The government has launched many plans to expand horticulture, support local processing and open the world market.

1000 processing unit targeting each district

Under the new strategy, the government said it was its main focus to establish fruits and vegetable processing units at the ground level. These units create employment in value chains to harvest, benchmarking, packaging and marketing from the nursury and garden. The government aims to set up at least 1,000 small and large processing units in each district.

Under the Prime Minister’s Food Update Scheme, it was reported that beneficiaries of units could get a loan of up to Rs. So far, about 17,000 units have been imposed. The unit belongs to a female entrepreneur and wants to set up a solar plant for it, the government provides a 90 percent subsidy.

The Indo-Touch Excellence Center is to be built at 7 ha

To further strengthen flowering and vegetable cultivation under the multi-dimensional strategy, a new Indo-Tachu special center will be built in seven hectares of Parabangi’s Trivetikanch. With the help of Dutch experts, the center said the center would serve as the focus of research and practical training.

A large export center is being built near Asia’s largest Jewish International Airport, while Uttar Pradesh’s first gamma radiation plant has been completed in Lucknow’s Nadergunch, which ensures that the treated fruits and vegetables are safe and their layered life is long.

The consumption of fruit and vegetables reached so much

After Kovit, the global demand for clean and nutritious food has increased with health awareness. Domestic consumption is on the rise due to better education, rising income and health awareness. According to the State Bank of India report, the availability of personal fruits and vegetables in the last decade increased from 7 to 12 kg, while personal production and consumption reached 227 kg and 146 kg respectively.

Uttar Pradesh has played an important role in this growth, where fruits and vegetable production has contributed across the country. The government said it was also creating infrastructure to improve exports in major markets like Europe and the United States.
