Even with the high rejection rate of President Luise Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), which was disclosed in opinion polls (reading below), the Minister of Social Communication Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic (SECOM), Sidonio Palra, denied that the lawsuit occurred in the actions of the government that was held on Thursday (2), in Brazilia, focused on tendency.
“This event has nothing to do with the popularity of the President of the Republic. This event is the accountability of the federal government. This is the most important,” he said.
When asked about who will be responsible for the refusal of the Petista government, Sidonius indicated that all government wings have part of the guilt.
“I think that the lack of popularity bears responsibility: all ministers, all areas of political, administration, communication, and everyone. It comes from some time or now. This has no problem at all.”
Sidonio argued that the government “did a lot” for two years and that it was not even thinking about an electoral campaign. “I am a minister, I am not thinking about a political campaign. I am thinking about the government.”
With the slogan “Brazil rotation”, SEcom held an event that brought together ministers, parliamentarians and civil society representatives.
The diagnosis conducted by the government is that the slogan that was adopted in the first half of the government – based on the slogan “Union and Reconstruction” – indicates that the problems that the current administration inherited was in the past.
There is currently the desire to show the residents that Lula in a negative scenario, but it has advanced towards a solution.
Low popularity
The work carried out by the President of the President Lula has been rejected by more than half of the Brazilians, according to the Genreat Survey issued on Wednesday (2).
The survey shows that 56 % do not approve the third management of Petista, while 41 % correspond to. They do not know or do not answer 3 %.
Another survey study, one day ago, from Atlantle/Bloomberg, revealed that the rejection rate reached 53.6 %. Approval is 44.9 %, and those who were unable to answer are 1.5 %.
