In the 2025 version of the QS Rankings, which includes about 500 universities from 35 European countries, the average marks of Portuguese universities included in the rankings are placed in the top ten European countries in four rankings. These results are achieved with a much lower student financial level than the European average. Despite the difficulties, standard policies and strategic investments are able to gradually strengthen the system of higher education and science and create a community of more qualified researchers.

Portugal requires a regime agreement that guarantees stability and predisposition to higher education and science. In addition, we will compromise for decades in an essential sector for the economic and social development of the country.
