In the budget of 2025-26, we have increased by five per cent for agriculture, the Finance Minister said. In the budget, Rs 14,524 crore has been kept for agriculture. Electric subsidy for farmers: A total of Rs.
Paralye Management: Five hundred crores of rupees has been arranged for crop residue management.
Project in canal water: Twenty thousand farmers of Sanghrur have developed a hundred crores of projects for canal water.
Health Budget for Animals: With the health of animals, the budget has been allocated Rs 704 crore.
Purchase of sugarcane: The procurement price of sugarcane will be Rs.401 per Quint, which is the highest in the entire country. A budget of Rs 250 crore has been placed for this purpose.
Incentive amount for maize cultivation: Farmers who produce maize in three districts of Punjab will get 17500 per hectare.
Budget for Dairy Manufacturers: A budget of Rs 100 crore has been placed on to help milk producers.

Free travel on women’s buses: The Punjab government has imposed Rs 450 crore for women for free travel on buses.
Health Insurance and Treatment: Finance Minister has allocated a budget of Rs 268 crore for health insurance and treatment facilities. 65 thousand families will be under the Health Insurance Scheme and the insurance amount will be increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
