Security in Belo Monte

During this period, there were reports of abuse and complaints by Riferside and people from the indigenous people of the region.

The factory construction and its operation is characterized by controversy, including the removal of societies on the Riferside and the indigenous population due to the flood caused by the organization.

This month, Minister Flavio Dino from the Supreme Federal Court (STF), He decided that the indigenous residents residing in the outskirts of the hydroelectric power plant in Belo Monte near the Xingo River in Barra are getting the company’s profits.
