On the last Saturday of April, the World Livestock Day, the World Livestock Day was celebrated all over the country. In this case, the Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources organized a workshop in Patna, the capital of Bihar. Additional Chief Secretary of the Department Dr. N. Vijayalakshmi set the goal of bringing milk production up to 50 lakh liters a day. He also requested the Bihar Animal Science University to launch a veterinary assistant’s curriculum.
During the workshop, Dr. Indrajit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Bihar Animal Science University, said that the university would soon launch new courses such as BSC poultry science. This year, the theme of the World Livestock Day “animal health is a team’s function”. At the same time, in the workshop, the title of “Clanders Disease, Sero Surveillance and National Livestock Service” was discussed, in which experts recommended their opinion and future action plans.
Veterinarians play an important role
Additional Chief Secretary Dr. N. On the occasion of World Veterinary Day, Vijayalakshmi said the veterinary industry was a group of people, and many need many. He said the role of veterinarians is more difficult than human doctors, because unruly animals cannot tell their illness. He said the country’s economy often depends on animal products and that most farmers are associated with livestock farming and strengthen the economic status. In addition to this, he urged the launching of food technology at the University of Bihar Animal Science.
Special focus on increasing milk production
Dr Vijayalakshmi said that the government is currently producing about 30 lakh liters of milk a day, which is targeted to increase to 50 lakh liters a day in the future. Effective implementation of the agricultural road map has greatly increased milk, meat, eggs and aquarium, but that milk production should be increased further. He instructed the District Livestock Agriculture Officers to take the initiative to establish Darsh Ka Aus Shalaz in their districts.
New courses will soon start at the university
Dr. Indirajit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Bihar Animal Science University, said today that today is the day of the uniqueness of the work of veterinarians. He said that the university is going to start the BSC and poultry science courses soon. At the same time, he advised not only to make veterinarians a veterinarians, but he advised to play an active role in raising awareness of veterinary owners, making it very useful.
