The Vatican announced on Tuesday (22) that the funeral of Pope Francis will start next Saturday (26), in the Church of St. Peter, from 10 am, local time, (5 hours in Brazilia).
The coffin of the Pope will be transferred to the funeral in São Pedro Basilica on Wednesday (13), at 9 am, local time (4 am in Brazilia) from the Holy See.
Cardinals are collected to determine the date and details of the Francisco funeral, according to the Vatican.
All those who are part of the Cardinal College of Cardinal can come to Rome and participate in the daily meetings of the general group, according to the Apostolic Constitution.
As part of the millennial process of choosing the new Pope, qualified Cardinals – senior church officials appointed by ink – must be gathered in order to choose behind Francis.
There are currently 136 qualified Cardro, but only 120 can participate.
But first, the Cardinacle must decide when the funeral must occur and then when Conclave can start.

Francisco, born Jorge Mario Bergelio, took the title of Pope in March 2013.
