A bomb near the reproductive health center in Palm Springs, California, exploded on Saturday (17), killing one person and damaging at least four, in an accident described by the FBI as “the deliberate act of terrorism.”
The authorities have a prominent person in the investigation and are not looking for a suspect, according to Davis, Assistant Director of the Field Office of the Federal Investigation Office in Los Angeles. Not provided more details about the case.

The bomb, which exploded at 11 am local time, was inside or near a car parked outside the clinic when it exploded, according to Palm Springs Ron Dahraiti.
“Do not make mistakes, this is an intended terrorist act,” said director Akil Davis.
Davis did not comment on the relationship – if there is any – between the victim and the person of the investigation’s attention.
A video posted on the networks showed the ground floor structure, which includes part of the clinic processes. The bomb appears to have opened a hole in a wall, causing damage throughout the building.
Many other buildings were damaged in the region, according to the authorities.
California governor Gavin New Rohroum was informed of the explosion, his office said.
American reproductive centers, which have offices in at least three cities in California, provide services that include fertilization in the laboratory, genetic tests and egg donation on the site. Despite the damage to the building, ARC said that the installation will work completely on Monday.
Publisher on Facebook states that the clinic laboratory, including all eggs, fetuses and reproductive materials, was safe and protected, and left all team members without harm.
“The moment has shook us, but it did not prevent us,” said Dr. Maher Abdullah, who runs the clinic in the post.
