Tarcísio: There is no right without Bolsonaro

When you ask if there is a right without Gear Bolsonaro (PL), Sau Paulo Governor, Tarcísio de freitasIt was clear to the answer: “It does not exist.”

The statement was made on Monday night (12), in New York, during the event dialogue, which brings together the leaders of the public and private sectors to discuss the transformations in Brazil.

Bolsonaro has not been eligible since 2023 of the superior electoral court decision (TSE). In previous interviews, the CEO of Sao Paulo denied that he intends to apply for the presidency if Bolsonaro remains outside the 2026 electoral scenario.

Still in the elections next year, Tarcisio said it is “very early” to comment on the matter.

The ruler answered the press: “It is very early. In the remaining and little year, we have to think now and provide results.”

The governor of Sao Paulo also put himself in a recent discussion between the American government and the Brazilian executive authority: the classification of criminal factions, such as the first leadership of the capital (CCP) and the red leadership (CV), as “terrorist organizations”.

“I think we must harden. Control of organized crime must treat criminal groups, as it is actually dealt with organized crime as a terrorist group,” he said. “If you do not increase the cost of the crime, we reduce our chances of obtaining effectiveness in this fight.”

On May 6, The Brazilian government told the United States not to classify CCP and CV as terrorist organizations.

In an interview last week with CNN, The National Security Secretary, Mario Sarubo, said that there is no “advantage” in changing Brazilian legislation and could be the American position “harmful” for Brazil.
