SKM celebrated the ‘anti -transformation day’ against the arrest of farmers

In a statement, SKM said that India is a democratic country and the citizens here will never allow the citizens to use police forces and prisons to suppress democratic rights to oppose citizens.

SKM also welcomed the unity of all the Farmers forums and the movements to organize the ‘anti -change day’ throughout Punjab and India. SKM said that the unity of the peasantry is the source of the success of the movement for any struggle. Punjab Chief Minister Punjab has called for the abolition of the government’s democratic procedures, the abolition of the bulldozer Raj, and not in violation of the constitutional rights of the people.

Resistance to these demands

SKM said that farmers’ struggle would be intensified throughout the country, such as the negative nature of agriculture, the benefit of agricultural production, the loan and the privatization of electricity. A meeting of the SKM National Coordinating Committee to be held on 29 March 2025 will immediately determine the future action plan in this regard.

Recently, when he returned after meeting with representatives of the central government, the Punjab police detained several farmers. These leaders include Jagjit Singh Dalwal and Saravan Singh Pander. Apart from these leaders, a total of 800 farmers were detained and later released. The big farmer leaders were released on Friday. SKM celebrated the ‘anti -Daman day’ in the country on Friday and sat down in opposition.
