Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held a weekly review in Krishi Bhavan of New Delhi on the progress of agriculture in the country. 4.03 lakh hectares in rice seed

The area of Mong and fertilizer has increased by 3.13 lakh hectares and 0.43 lakh hectares (until April 25 2025). The part of Mong, Gram and Urath has also increased. The main states for wheat are Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Bihar. The cutting situation (till 25.04.2025) is as follows: Madhya Pradesh (100%), Uttar Pradesh (88%), Rajasthan (100%), Gujarat (100%), Haryana (92%), Punjab (80%) and Pear Kersting. Today, the crop has crossed the maturity stage in all states. Peanut sowing has also increased.

Rice and wheat buffer stock information
