Recently, the Rajasthan government has expressed problems in a small number of camels.

Also, the remaining camels were also stated in Rajasthan. According to the state government, in 1983, the number of camels in Rajasthan was 7.56 lakh. But according to the statistics of the animal census in 2019, only 2.13 lakh camels have been left in Rajasthan. Speaking of the country, the number of camels has declined by 37 percent.

To increase the number of state animal camels in the Maru territory, the reproductive state of camels is promoted in the state of the camel protection and development. • Improving the economic status of camel by selling camel products.
• To attract tourists by attaching camels with tourism.
• Creating sanctuary and rehabilitation centers for camels.
• Promoting the reproductive policy under the Clean Protection Program.
• Help to protect camels and raise newborns.
• The help provided to camel parents was 10 to 20 thousand.

According to experts, until some time ago, camels are very important in the areas of West Rajasthan. Camels used a lot for agriculture and transportation there. Each small and large work related to agriculture was done with the help of camels. Similarly, even if it is cargo or ride, people have to move from one place to another, for which camel car or a straight camel has traveled. But now the use of camels has declined due to high progress in both areas.
