Flower cultivation is increasing rapidly in the Chapra district of Bihar. The entire area here is known to grow traditional crops. But farmers are now returning to flower cultivation because they earn more in the short term. In the Dikwara constituency of Saran district, farmers have begun to cultivate large flowers. It contains marigold, cherry flowers and chrysanthemism. Farmers’ revenues have increased from these flowers, so they started growing more and more areas.
The Times of India report states that the previous flowers were cultivated in the Akilpur constituency of Dikwara. But now its purpose has spread far away. Only the fields filled with flowers are visible between sidepur and Chaknur on both sides of the National Highway.
The farmers’ income increased
Farmers like Ramesh Bhagat, Yogendra Bhagat and Yogendra Singh say that with the decoration of their big marigold flowers, there is a lot of religious work, which has given Dikwara a sign.
