After the heavy rains that hit Rio de Janeiro in the last hours, 53 cities in the state are related to the maximum warning of storms, such as floods and landslides.
The information was reported in a bulletin issued this Sunday (6) by the National Center for the Monitoring and Alerts of Natural Disaster (CEMADEN). Municipalities in Grande Rio, Siran and Costa Verde.
Among the cities in the state of maximum alert Angra Doss Reese and Petrobolis, whose municipalities issued a state of emergency due to rain. Until last Saturday (5), the country had more than 500 people without shelter.
Climatempo predicts that, throughout the day, the rain must decrease, especially in Grande Rio, Serrana Region, Costa Verde and the southern state. “Even with a decrease in rain, the weather warns that strong winds still can occur in the mountains, north and northwest of Rio, with storms of up to 70 km/h. In other areas, about 50 km/h.”
