During a dialogue space promoted by the middle border, Lopez recalled a symbolic phrase for Pope Francis while preparing the Amazon Senodes: “The ocean is the center.” This thought summarizes the essence of Pontificate, where the parties become: people, societies and challenges are the main axis of the church, which illuminates and turns their heart from the task of approaching everyone, especially the most vulnerable.

The testimony of the reference in ecology and cabinets emphasizes that the parties are not just scenarios, but the living topics that reflect the existence of Christ and the opening of the new views of the preaching. In them, the Church finds its true vitality and mission, in a dynamic characteristic of culture, conquest and service.

Man and humble in the mission

Lopez recalls a moment from the start of the Amazon Senodes, as the Pope expressed his grief over the sarcastic comments aimed at the indigenous people. Francisco reaffirmed with simplicity and dignity the beauty of their cultural symbols, facing the wounds of the past and highlighting the dignity of everyone.

Mauricio López describes the Pope’s work as sowing that trusts that although many seeds do not pay fruits in their time, others will marry in the future. It is a process that exceeds its personal image and responds to a larger project, inspired by the second Vatican Council and in the dream of the current kingdom.

The operation promoted by Francisco, such as the 2028 ecclesiastical assembly, provides tools and paths the church should continue, without relying on one image, but on the synod and the work of God’s people.

Confidence in the spirit and continuity of the project

Despite the resistance, Pope Francis has browsed with confidence in the soul, confronting “structural diseases” such as “Perceptions” (defending the doctrine as an end) and “fear of phobia” (fear of pollution with diversity). Lopez sheds light on how to defeat these difficulties by confidence that the soul works freely, through surplus, not by diagnoses or human spots.

His example and his actions, from support to the indigenous population to the cinematic institutions, leave the inheritance of a path for the people of God to continue progress, in an obligation that does not focus on the Pope’s personality, but on the continuity of the Bible and the Kingdom.

Future seeds

For López, who is also the vice president of the Amazon Ecclesial Conference (Cama) and director of the Amazon University program, the legitimacy of the main Pope lies in the seeds of Rome planted, and many of them in solid lands, that others continue in water and harvest in future generations.

The seeds of the Bible and the Council, which were taken care of with sincerity and hope, are able to prolong God’s work in history. Lopez concluded that real hope does not reside in temporary personalities, but in the eternal project of the Kingdom and in the work of the believer of the people of God, who is always grown without waiting for the immediate harvest.
