Papa Francisco: See the coffin photos that are transferred to St. Peter Square

The coffin of Pope Francis was transferred to St. Peter’s Square to the funeral this Saturday (26). The ceremony contains a funeral mass and brings together dozens of heads of state.

The sarcophagus, preceded by a simple book of Gospels, was transferred by the gentlemen of His Holiness – the rulers or the strains of the Pope.

According to the authorities, there will be a “very small” procession, with some cardinals in cars to Santa Maria Magiosia Basilica, where Francisco asked to be buried.

The funeral procession will pass through Passa Galleria, and crosses the Tierber River Bridge, Corso Vitorio and Piaza Venezia.
