The Union Ministry of Agriculture will hold a nationwide Krishi Demonstration Campaign from May 29 to June 2025, along with the Indian Agricultural Research Council (ICAR). Under this, farmers will be notified of the Kariff crops in various villages of the country. In this regard, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will discuss with the agricultural ministers of the states on May 2025.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan said our magic was a country, a farming and a group. Farmers can discuss with scientists. Through this, farmers and science can unite. In addition, we will research the problems of the farmers, according to a scientific discussion, and then a solution will be given to the farmers. Our aim is to start this campaign with the aim of farmers to farm for profit.

What is this propaganda purpose?

The aim of this campaign to raise farmers in the main crops, livestock, poultry and fisheries that are grown during the Carif season, to raise awareness for farmers on various government programs and policies for farmers. They can learn about the benefits of the soil health card, the choice of crops and the use of fertilizers according to the information available. Also, by taking ideas from the farmers, scientists can learn about the innovations they have done and to guide them to research accordingly.

113 ICAR scientists will be involved

To implement this campaign, experts of all 731 agricultural science centers in the country, scientists of 113 ICAR companies, agriculture, horticulture, livestock and fisheries will be involved in various departments. The campaign will be conducted by KVK in the district level. There are three teams in each district, each team has 4-5 materialists, scientists, officials of various fields and innovative farmers. We have 16 thousand agricultural scientists. We will create 2170 teams for the campaign. There will be four scientists in a group and they will help farmers.

500-600 farmers will be spoken directly

Each team goes to three grams of panchayats every day and talks directly with 500-600 farmers. Under this scheme, over 1.30 crore farmers will be directly contacted and they will be spoken. Under the plan, farmers, aspirations and adverse conditions of the tribal -dominated villages will be raised awareness.

Farmers will be trained in these areas

Farmers will be shown through the information on various modern techniques through video and nano urea and nano DAP and videos by video using drone technology in agriculture. Farmers will be informed of various schemes run by the Central and State Government and Agriculture. Farmers will be notified of the advanced seeds and techniques of crops grown during the Corb season. According to the information available to the farmers, the information is available to the farmers about the benefits of the soil health card, the selection of crops and the use of fertilizers. Farmers will discuss modern techniques such as cattle farming, poultry farming and aquarium such as nutrition, chilage, disease and its prevention.

Discussing issues related to charcoal crops, solutions will be provided by the teams and will be provided with the work in the right direction to increase their productivity. Considering the use of machines to manage the soybean crop properly, the necessary information will be provided to the farmers. The relevant departments will provide support on the basis of the need for farmers. Apart from these crops, farmers will learn about high value -based agriculture, especially milk and horticulture.

What is “Lab to Land”?

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare begins with the National Outreement initiative “Growing Krishi Sangalp Abhiyan” in the pre -season season from May 29 to June 12, 2025, to implement the need for “Lab to Land”.

  • In this campaign, scientific groups in over 65,000 villages will compete directly with farmers.
  • The campaign will be held in 723 districts and each district will have 3 teams.
  • Each group has 4-5 materialists, scientists, officials of various fields and innovative farmers.
  • During this campaign, more than 1.30 crore farmers will be directly contacted.
  • Each party will organize projects in 3 panchayats daily, with about 500-600 farmers participating.
  • VIP and Public Representatives (Ministers, MPS, MLASS) and top officials of the central and state governments will also participate in the campaign.
