What is the Indus Water Agreement?
The Indus Water Agreement is a water contract between India and Pakistan in 1960. The agreement was reached between Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and the then Pakistan Ayub Khan.
According to the agreement, India granted Pakistan the right to provide 80% of the water of the Sindh, Jelam and Senap rivers. In addition, India also provided financial assistance to Pakistan at that time, its price is equal to about Rs 5500 crore.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that many water expert representatives of India opposed the agreement at the time. Experts believed that this was not in India. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Modi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said, “Prime Minister Modi concludes this historical injustice. We welcomed him.” Now India will use the water in its farmers and national welfare. This decision will bring about a major change in the country’s water policy and agriculture sector.

In addition to the Indus Water Agreement, Shivraj Singh praised the heroism and heroism of the country’s army. He said, “Pakistan, Turkey and China were thinking of scaring India with drones and missiles, but our military killed him.” He said that our children are now playing with abandoned garbage and that Pakistan came to the knees within three days.
