The jaggery here is popular for its high quality sugarcane. It has been exported to Bangladesh. The Ministry of Commerce, which provided information on Saturday, said that 30 metric tonnes of goods had been exported to Bangladesh.

This effort is a symbol of the export of jaggery directly from West Uttar Pradesh to Bangladesh through Kisan Producers (FPOs) and Kisan Producers (FBC). Shamli MLA Prasanna Chaudhry said that there is a good quality to be done in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli, so there is a lot of need in international markets.

545 members in FPC

FPO receives financial assistance from government
Significantly, Uttar Pradesh is the only FPO, which has received financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh under the state agricultural exports policy. On this occasion, the Skills Development Program for Export Promotion of Basmati Rice and other agricultural goods was organized by the Basmati Export Development Foundation (Apita).
About 220 farmers participated in the debate on export-quality production. The Ministry of Commerce said that this effort was an important step towards Uttar Pradesh to expand agriculture exports, empower the farmers and ensure the prolonged and profitable future for the agriculture sector of India.
