In Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra today, this Memorandum of Understanding was signed for the ‘Tabi Basin Mega Recharge Project’. The event was held at the Kushaba Thackeray International Conference Center. MP The Tabi Basin Mega Recharge Project is a joint project of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Under this scheme, irrigation proposed 1,23,082 hectares of Mother’s area and 2,34,706 in Maharashtra. Groundwater storage will be expanded in the project. 90 % of the project will be spent by the federal government.
‘The world’s largest underground water recharge project’
At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said the ‘Dabi Basin Mega Recharge Project’ is the world’s largest groundwater recharge project. This is a unique project that will write a new chapter of groundwater recharge around the world. This will increase the ground water level of the large parts of the state, especially the nimmer and it will prove that it is life -long. It will create irrigation facilities in the Maharashtra area of about 1 lakh 23 thousand and 2 lakh 37 hectares in Madhya Pradesh, which will benefit thousands of farmers.
This program will go to the center for approval
After the Memorandum of Understanding, the two state governments will require the Central Government to approve the Tabdi Mega Recharge Scheme. At the 28th meeting of the “Madhya Pradesh Maharashtra Inter -Stade Control Board” at the first ministry of Vallab Bhavan’s OU, discussions were held on other irrigation projects of the two states, including the “Tapty Basin Mega Recharge” project.
Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, Tribal Welfare Minister Gunwar Vijay Shah, MP V.T. Sharma, Former Minister Archana Sydnis, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office and Dr. Rajesh Rajara and Water Resources Department and senior officials of the state government were present.

Chief Minister Yadav said that our Madhya Pradesh is a maid of rivers and more than 247 rivers flow here. Our water has a great depth of zodiac signs. For the past 25 years, many states of Madhya Pradesh have not been able to progress due to the lack of mutual approval between the states. Now all these projects under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are now speeding.

This is very beneficial for both states. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is worthy of greetings for the positive initiative in this direction. The Madhya Pradesh government will work in many parts with the Maharashtra government.
