Mexico will have a 40 -hour work week by 2030

Workers across Mexico Will recall Labor Day By voicing their demands for the 40 -hour work week. The national palace seems to have been listening.

Labor Minister Marath Bollanos said on Thursday that the government would gradually establish a 40 -hour work week before President Claudia Shinebam’s term ended in September 2030.

Speaking to trade union leaders and labor representatives during lunch at the national palace, Bolonos reminded that the attendees were 60th in the list of 40 hours of work on the 40 -hour work weeks.

“We hope that the provision of eight extra hours every week will contribute to national growth,” he said.

Sheinbam said that workers, trade union leaders, traders and educators would come to participate in the conversation from June 2 to July 7 to create a consensus on how to implement a reduced work week.

“We realize that this reform cannot be implemented from one day to the next day, so it is important to admit how to achieve it better,” said Sheinbam.

Polonos said the Labor Ministry would organize negotiations in cities across the country to allow all perspectives to be entered.

The same bill suggests that some businesses should be given exemptions or obtaining government subsidies.

In November, Deputy Manuel Waskeauz (Moovemiano Chiudatano) funded the law to prevent the implementation of a 40 -hour work week in accordance with the size of the company.
