Jubilee from the Eastern Churches, Eve in Santa Maria

Stefano Lizshenski – Vatican City

On the night of May 13, it was held on the eve, according to Siro-Annoquena, with the participation of believers in the Christ-Catholic Church, the Maronite Church and the Siro-Malankar Church. This celebration was presided over by Ignace Ignace Youssif III Youun, Patriarch of the Syrians, along with the head of bishops, Major Siro-Malianquar, Cardinal Basilius Clemez, and the presence of Cardinal Ghugarotti, the governor of the Dikiriri of the Eastern Church.

Savior from all over the world

A moment of dense heavy prayer was marked by this event, at the end of the second day of the Jubilee of the Eastern Churches in Bazilica Santa Maria La, which was full of believers all over the world. The celebration was developed in the Syriac language, partially retaliated in English, taking into account the extensive participation of members from all over the world.

Unity and peace

Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Turkey and India are the countries in which Western churches are rooted historically, which hosted the believers, after praising Pope Francis, silently for their peoples, which were affected by wars, pressure, difficulties, and miracles. The joy of this jubilee event, which is devoted to the eastern churches, is concerned about the difficult reality that God lives in their original lands. This was a point that the Cardinal Ghobari wanted to emphasize his greetings at the end of the celebration. “The question raised by the diaspora,” the purple later explained in the statements of the Vatican media – is: “How long can you resist ecclesiastical traditions related abroad, which are the same roots of Christ, the same culture, the same language, the same sensitivity?” In this sense, he added, “Dicastery’s commitment is framed, and he is at the service of the Holy Father to ensure that these people can stay and prosper in their land.”
