The United States of Ukraine’s Special Presidential President said that Russia’s bloodiest attack on the country this year highlights “why President Trump is working hard to end this war.”
Russian attacks struck the city of Sumi, in northeastern Ukraine, this Sunday (13), while the population celebrated on Sunday from Ramos. At least 34 people – including two children – have killed nearly 100, according to the Ministry of Interior in Ukraine.
“Today’s attack on Ramos on Sunday, by the Russian forces against the civil targets of Sumi, beyond any limit from decency,” Keith Kelj wrote in X. “As a former military leader, I understand the definition of goals and this is a mistake. That is why President Trump works hard to end this war.”
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the attacks as “terrible” in a statement that echoed Kelog’s comments on our efforts to resolve the war.
In recent months, the relationship between the United States and Ukraine has been unstable, as President Donald Trump has been trying to negotiate Metal agreement and Stop shooting in the area.
Trump temporarily suspended military aid and participated in the intelligence after an argument with Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski in February about the metal agreement. But both were restored shortly after Ukraine’s approval in principle with a ceasefire proposal in the United States.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin did not accept the ceasefire agreement in the United States, and on Friday (11), Trump asked Moscow to “move” to the end of the war.
“Many people die, thousands per week, in a terrible war that has no meaning – a war that should never have occurred, and will not happen if you were president !!!” Trump wrote.
