US President Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran “could not have nuclear weapons.”

The statement came, along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the Republican announcement Direct negotiations on the nuclear program Tehran.

Trump said the country will be “in great danger” if the talks fail: “It will be a bad (Iran) day.”

The US President said that on Saturday (12), there will be an “important” meeting.

Announcing direct negotiations is surprising as the Iranian authorities Apparently, we rejected US requests.

“We are conducting direct talks with Iran and began. It will happen on Saturday. We have a very big meeting, and we will see what can happen,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Hall.

“I think everyone agrees that a contract will be preferred,” Trump said. He did not give more details.

Trump’s alerts of military action against Iran have already sparked nervousness throughout the Middle East after the open war in Gaza and Lebanon, military attacks in Yemen and the change of leadership in Syria.

Trump said he preferred an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program over a military confrontation and told March 7 that he wrote to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to propose negotiations.

The Iranian authorities said at the time that Tehran would not be afraid of negotiating.

Iran is in Trump’s first state

During his term from 2017 to 2021, Trump removed the United States from the 2015 agreement between Iran and the global authorities that imposed solid borders on nuclear activities in Tehran in exchange for dilution of sanctions. Trump also re -distinguishing comprehensive US sanctions.

Since then, Iran has crossed the borders of the uranium enrichment agreement.

Western powers accuse Iran of a secret agenda to develop the ability of nuclear weapons by enriching uranium to a high level of purity of splitting, above what they say is justified for the atomic civil energy program.

Tehran says its nuclear program is completely for civil energy purposes.
