Haryana and Israel have put forward a common approach to new technology in agriculture in the horticulture sector. Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana and Israeli Agriculture and Food Security Minister A.V. The meeting was held one day after the signed agrarian cooperation agreement and action plan between the two countries in New Delhi. At this meeting, it was agreed to create a ‘better center’ in the field of hydrophonics so that the Indo-Israeli Agricultural Alliance can start a new chapter.
Debate on water pollution issue
During the meeting, Israeli minister Ticker stressed the need to recycle water in Haryana, “we should use contaminated water for irrigation.” He advised Haryana to explore the possibilities in this direction. He invited Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana to come to Israel to the advanced techniques accepted in irrigation, seed production and climate control agriculture.
Natural Agriculture is promoted
Shyam Singh Rana provided information on the efforts to clean up salt water in Haryana and the current projects on natural agriculture. He said the government was targeted to cultivate one lakh acres of salt water this year. At the same time, he also highlighted the possibility of promoting flower cultivation around Delhi.

The Minister of Agriculture also noted that Haryana’s geographical diversity, and that Haryana has significantly contributed to medals in the country’s military service and international sports despite being a small state. Israeli minister Ticker praised Greenhouse and Advanced Agricultural Systems in Haryana. He talked about techniques such as hydrophonics, in which plants refer to the need for nutrients. He expressed his desire to collectively develop the quality of high -quality fruits such as Israeli Lemon and collectively develop Haryana’s climate.

Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana discussed the possibilities of techniques such as backward and multi -storey mushroom agriculture in natural farming. Emphasizing the need to reduce the damage after harvest, he said, “After harvest, most of our agricultural products are destroyed. We are working on reducing the post -harvest laws.” Ministers of the two countries have agreed to create a ‘better center’ in the field of hydrophonics, which are going to launch a new chapter of India-Israeli Agricultural Alliance.
